FAQs
Do I need to enable location?
No. You can browse top‑ranked dishes worldwide without granting location access. Enable location to see nearby results.
Why don’t I see any dishes nearby?
Try increasing the distance filter or switch to worldwide mode. Network connectivity can also affect results.
Are my photos or reviews public?
Yes. Reviews and photos you submit are visible within the app and stored in iCloud (CloudKit). See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I report objectionable content?
Use the in‑app reporting controls on a review to flag it for moderation.
What happens after I report content?
Reported items are reviewed. Content may be hidden or removed, and abusive users may be blocked.
Why can’t I submit a review?
Submitting requires Sign in with Apple and agreement to the Terms. If your account is blocked, you won’t be able to post.
Do you collect analytics or tracking data?
We collect anonymous usage and performance data to improve the app (not linked to your Apple ID). You can turn this off anytime in the app under Settings → Privacy & Analytics. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Troubleshooting
- Ensure you have an internet connection.
- If location results are missing, check Settings → Privacy → Location Services.
- Close and reopen the app to refresh content.
- Make sure you’re on the latest version of Best Dishes.
